Review:
This is a great pre-series fic for Supernatural and an outsider POV fic for both canons. It works so well in part because both sets of characters are in some way "in the know" about weird stuff though from different enough perspectives to not see eye to eye, and they don't understand the full significance of each other in the circumstances that they meet so the insights they get are different than they might be under "professional" circumstances like a lot of other Supernatural / law-enforcement-fandom-of-choice crossovers. I particularly like the little character insights this fic gives about each of the characters.
