Review:
I don't want to give too much of the character plot away, but this story is well-written, definitely one of the better slash fics in M*A*S*H fandom, and I especially like the descriptions and development of the settings, both in San Francisco and in Maine.  The characterizations are good, plus this fic also has a strong supporting cast to fill out the story.

Title: Jeffrey Nullier's "Man With Fedora"
Author:  [archiveofourown.org profile] copperbadge
Fandom: White Collar
Pairings: Peter/Elizabeth
Genre: General, Case fic
Length:  Medium (Words: 17,566)

Author's Summary:
A routine investigation into an art theft turns up Neal's fingerprints on a stolen painting. Neal swears he's never stolen a Nullier painting, but that's only half the truth...

Review:
Awesome case fic.  Lots about art and Neal's character is well done - as good a forger as canon Neal is, it's very believable that he could have an art career in just this way.  The development of the case is good, though once or twice, the case logic skips a step (like when Neal is interrogating the suspect and says some things that do work, but come up too abruptly) and while the criminal's eventual motive is a cliche, it's still a good story.

Title: Five Futures Olivia and Lloyd Didn't Have (and One Present They're Living)
Author:  [livejournal.com profile] misscam
Fandom: FlashForward
Pairings: Oliva/Lloyd, implied Olivia/Mark and Lloyd/Dylan's mother
Genre: Romance
Length:  Short

Author's Summary:
One way or another, the future always happens. [FlashForward. Lloyd/Olivia]

Review:
Short but sweet.  Just lots of ways that Lloyd and Olivia could have gotten together.  Comes down a bit more on the fate side or the great fate vs. free will debate than canon does, but that's part of its sweet shippy-ness.  The first of of the scenes is definitely my favorite.

Fandom: Supernatural

Genre: General
Length:  Short (Words: 9,442)

Author's Summary:
Sam and Dean are just vessels right? Right?

Review:
While the canon story of two average dudes triumphing over the combined forces of Heaven and Hell is truly awesome, I nevertheless have a serious soft spot for fics where one or both of the Winchester boys is an archangel and can really seize the reins of the whole Apocalypse plot and kick some traitorous angel butt, then get on with some original plot lines.  This one is well written and gets major kudos for the way it manages to handle the characterizations really, really well to balance the human and angel personalities and get characters you can recognize and believe.  My one and only complaint is there's not enough of this fic.

See also: Pit Stop at Cambria - a oneshot outtake of Samifer meeting the Criminal Minds team (the latter only appears in this outtake, not in the main story above).  It's funnier than a story about scaring jaded FBI profilers into religion has any right to be.

Awesome Southland gen fic.  Short, but a great read anyways.  Well written and the characterizations are good (of Cooper, Sherman, and the mountain lion).
