Review:
Rarepair ship!fic, but mostly Dean, who's already played at being a vessel, a vampire, and Death, spends a month as the Trickster with help from temporarily-not-dead!Gabriel.  I like Gabriel a lot so I think seeing things work out better for him in this fic, especially in such a tricky way, is really cool.

Sam noticed a few things weren't quite right after they killed the Trickster.  After going back to check things out, his life will never be the same.

Review:
Gorgeous, slow development of the ship, features clever!Sam.  No Cas because Gabriel throws his archangel weight around before Cas gets involved, but that also means no Ruby.  It catches the Winchesters at an interesting time in the canon character development arc and tries to strike a good balance between early-canon!Winchesters and later-canon!Winchesters - Dean especially is closer to early canon, while Sam's maybe closer to later canon but either way, it works out really well.  I love that this fic starts from janitor!Trickster and the angel reveal doesn't happen until the end too.  All around a good Sabriel fic.
