Review:
A story about the pack with a serious reputation for BAMF-ness.  Stiles is really awesome in this one - he's take-charge capable, confident, and competent in a bad situation.  And even though he knows how badass he is, he doesn't get ahead of himself - he waits until he understands the situation and knows exactly how he's going to get out of it before he acts - which is even more awesome than normal guns-blazing BAMF.  I also like that this is set years after canon, once Stiles has grown up some and you definitely get the father&adult!son relationship here as Sheriff Stilinski sees Stiles handle this situation.  I think you can enjoy this fic without knowledge of canon beyond realizing that Stiles is a human member of a werewolf pack of which Derek Hale is the alpha.  Deaton is a minor character in-the-know about the supernatural who occasionally provides advice to the pack.  This is all alluded to in the fic, but mentioned here to be clear.
