The Banter'verse, in which the Apocalypse is stopped by nothing but the boys bantering and having awesome plans. Imaginary S5 after Abandon All Hope; each part basically stands on its own. Gabriel decides to join Team Free Will. Dean is the righteous man, Castiel is puzzled by strange human ways, and Sam is getting his bitchface on. But with the four of them, the Apocalypse doesn't stand a chance.
Review:
This collection is a series of one-shots that are disjointed and largely plot-less individually, but the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. I like the characterizations a lot and the sense of humor is great, particularly as you get more towards the middle of the series. My favorite part is when Gabriel finds G-d (which I can't say one thing more about without spoiling, but it's really funny and really gets the characters well).
