Review:
I loved Sea Patrol and was sad when it ended so I have a soft spot for continuation fics.  This one doesn't have the finesse of the truly well-written fic, but it's good nonetheless.  It has an element of the supernatural that isn't typical of canon, but it works and its interesting.  The characterization and conformity to the canon world (particularly the military protocols) is pretty good too.

Review:
In terms of concept, this is awesome as a future fic and sweet as a ship fic.  What's there is well written and has good characterizations.  I like that stuff happens beyond the standard steps of ship fic - the scenes from the pages' wing are particularly good and very reminiscent of canon.  It's a good, if quick read.  However, chapters shorter than 1,000 words are something of a pet peeve of mine (I blame fictionalley, the first fanfic site I posted on - they wouldn't let you post unless the chapter was at least 3000 words).  This fic is just plain too short!  The story is worth at least a novel and we only get little glimpses.  They're good glimpses though and I really like the concept, so it gets a rec.
