Review:
So much better than it sounds, I promise.  It's so easy to hate Sally Donavon and Anderson in canon and mostly, fandom goes the same way, but as nasty as they sort of are in this fic too, they're also still likeable.  They're just not one dimensional anymore.  There's been a lot of very good character work put into this fic to flesh out minor characters and bring them to life.  Sally and Anderson's friendship is great too.  I can't see the main pairing at all, but I can suspend disbelief on that for 3k words and really enjoy it in this fic.  I really like the author's voice here for some reason I can't quite pin down - I think it just feels somehow warm and vivid.  Definitely don't let the weird pairing scare you away from this fic.
