Fandom: Supernatural, Lie to Me
Genre: Crossover
Length: Medium (Words: 15,240)

Summary:
Dean Winchester is one of the most notorious criminals that ever graced the FBI’s most wanted list. Now he’s back from the dead (again) and in custody, facing trial for his pretty exceptional list of crimes. It’s up to the experts of the prestigious Lightman Group to unravel the mystery and find out whether Dean is criminally insane or a stone-cold psychopath. Or something else entirely…

Review:
A great Lie to Me fic where the team is confronted with the most outrageous truths and has to decide if they will believe them or dismiss them as delusions.  It's also another good Dean-gets-caught- and-questioned fic.  Dean certainly makes for entertaining interrogations.

Fandom: Yiddish Policemen's Union
Genre: Gen
Length: Short (Words: 1,026)

Summary:
A collection from their scrapbook, you might say, of some candle-worthy cases.

Review:
Tiny glimpses of other cases Berko and Landsman worked.  It's cool to see them when its not a world-changing case.  Possibly, this is the only Yiddish Policemen's Union fic and that makes me sad since it's my favorite novel, but at least this one is good.  I'd like it if each section were just a little longer - some of the sections don't quite finish their thought - but others get right down to the big picture in a couple of paragraphs which is impressive.  I especially like that this fic makes the effort to emulate the complete culture depicted in the book through its use of language and cultural mythology and details of daily life.

Fandom: Rivers of London
Genre: Gen, Character piece
Length: Short (Words: 3,101)
Warnings: Holocaust references, battle scenes, character death, PTSD, grief and mourning

Summary:
There's more than one kind of ghost, and more than one kind of absence.

Review:
This is a heavy fic; note the warnings.  Nightingale's past, specifically the most traumatic part of his World War II service is discussed (the incident is hinted as being bad in canon but no specifics are given).  I can see this being canon or very much like it.  I like the way the whole thing is handled too.  Nicely done fic here.
