New tag - check it out and maybe find yourself some new fandoms

I've just added a tag for fics that you don't have to know canon to enjoy and I've tagged any old recs I think fit.  This category includes 1) fics that explain canon to you without assuming you know what they're talking about, 2) fics that are completely AU, practically an original story using character and placenames, maybe a little of the canon world but not enough that canon knowledge matters, and 3) fics that are good in their own right and while canon knowledge might help you get more out of it in terms of fic subtext, its actually not required to enjoy the fic at face value. 

Occasionally, this may include borderline fics that require very minimal canon knowledge (the background info needed can be explained in about 50 words or less and I will try to provide this info in the review post) or fics that require you to know a little bit about a genre or a cast of frequently-used characters rather than something specific to a particular canon - this will also be explained in the review (ex: The Madness of Angels is tagged, but you should know who Sherlock, Watson, Mycroft and Lestrade are in general terms as can be learned from any one of the many Sherlock Holmes stories, not necessarily Sherlock BBC).

Fics like these have helped get me into new fandoms so I figured it was a good thing to tag.
