Review:
This is a good alternate apocalypse story by a well known multifandom fic writer.  In it, Gabriel helps the Winchesters and Castiel stop the apocalypse, but their problems only get bigger from there.  Though this is a plot-driven story, I like the characterizations.  I also really like how both Sam and Gabriel deal with what happens after the apocalypse... which I can't explain without spoiling.  I just wish this fic had been longer.  The plot deserves far more than the 5k words it's given here.  It could have been an epic.  It's good as is, but it could have been great.

Review:
From the POV of the possessed truck driver in Season 1.  He doesn't know demons are real or understand that he was possessed and he's devastated to have apparently caused this accident that injured the Winchesters.  This fic really captures that.  I particularly like how the author has Karl using idioms as if they were meaningless without realizing how close they are to literal truth.  I also really, really like the twist at the end.  This is a very sad, but touching fic.

Review:
Despite the crack-y premise, this is actually a fairly good drama.  I really like fantasy and systems of magic where belief isn't necessary to make things happen precisely because it leads to problems like this fic - where someone accidentally makes something happen that could have been quite serious.  I can't help but wonder how this will change the girls and what their parents will notice or think of these girls when they get home.  I also like this fic as an Outsider POV in Supernatural fandom because it's not your typical muggle-confronted-with-the-supernatural story - it doesn't deal with possession, it doesn't end in tragedy, and it could but doesn't necessarily change the course of these girls' lives and beliefs because this event is still something that a strong Weirdness Censor could let them put out of their minds.  Plus, if you're a John WInchester fan, there's the Winchester reunion aspect here with the fix-it for John's early-canon death.

Review:
Not your typical zombie fic (nor even your typical Eureka zombie fic), that's for sure, but brilliant and awesome in its own right.  Jack Carter has to save the day (of course) and fortunately, as a normal non-brainiac in this town of geniuses, he is immune to the epidemic and uninteresting to the brain-craving almost-zombies.  In typical Eureka fashion, this fic has a light-hearted tone with plenty of humor.
