Author's Summary:

Review:
I like stories that manage lots of hurt/comfort fluffy, fuzzy feelings without putting the poor characters through even more horrible things than canon. This story deals with believable/reasonable outcomes for the survivors of the Battle of Canary Wharf. It's dark, but Ianto gets the support he needs so its a bit more hopeful (not happy, but at least positive) at the end. I love how strong Ianto is and how supportive Jack and the rest of the Torchwood team are - especially Owen, actually (he's in character with plenty of sharp remarks, but he's still helping). Besides the character and relationship arcs, this story also fills in some holes about how Ianto could get a cyberwoman out of the wreckage and across the country and into the Torchwood Hub... but mostly it's very good hurt/comfort Ianto/Jack.
