Author's Summary:
Dean Winchester is a Grimm, the latest in a long line.
As far as Dean’s concerned, Wesen are dangerous, but to his surprise, he finds himself swearing to protect an Angel, a rare Wesen, from the group of organ traffickers who are after him.
Castiel, the Angel, can heal the sick and the dying. Although initially neither Dean or Castiel are happy to work together, slowly, they find themselves drawn together.
Review:
This is a Grimm Fusion - it stars the Supernatural characters (Dean, Castiel, Charlie, Sam, Gabriel, Meg, etc) but takes place in the Grimm universe with a plot that involves bits of both and a lot of creativity. I'd call this a good Supernatural fic , slightly less so as a Grimm fic - these can't have been easy fandoms to blend and it was well done in that respect (which is the top reason I think this fic deserves a rec)... it's just that it's ended up the sort of story that appeals to the Supernatural fan but less so to the Grimm fan, especially in terms of characterization and character interactions, the style of the case (even as it involves technical elements of Grimm canon), and the tone of the storytelling.
