Title: The Detective and the Diplomat
Author:
Beth_Einspanier
Fandom: Sherlock (ACD), Discworld
Genre: Parody
Length: Medium (Words: 34,796)
Author's Summary:
Two mysteries. Two of the greatest minds in the multiverse. One variable. Oh bugger... Sherlock Holmes - Discworld crossover FINISHED!
Review:
If what you like most about Discworld is the blatant glee with which Pratchett dissects well-known stories, poking at absurdities and prodding them into new shapes, you will love this story. Pretty thorough knowledge of Discworld is required for full appreciation of this fic. Knowledge of any of the many incarnations of Sherlock Holmes is probably fine since its the characters of Sherlock and Watson and Sherlock's methods that you need to know more than any canon situation.
