Carter has to come to terms with Stark's sudden death after the crisis with the "destabilizing time loop". FYI, this one doesn't even have a hint of slash like many fics in Eureka fandom so if Jack/Nathan is your OTP, it may be a tad unfulfilling but if you can handle a friendship-only story, this one is lovely. It's not a survivor's guilt story or anything - Jack's just saying goodbye so it's simply a nice fic about mourning the loss of someone you knew.
