Title:  Lady Knight Volant
Author:  [archiveofourown.org profile] Bracketyjack
Fandom: Tortall (Tamora Pierce)
Pairings: Domitan of Masbolle/Keladry of Mindelan
Genre: General, Romance
Length:  Epic (Words: 432,474)

Author's Summary:
Continues Lady Knight to the end of the Scanran War. K/D eventually. A long novel of action and manners, featuring immortals, gods, the timeway, a serious battle, some unlikely topography, and a lot of improbable architecture. Oh, and some haiku.

Review:
This is a well-written continuation of Kel's story starting on their journey back with the refugees in Lady Knight.  The author has done a good job of filling in details with worldbuilding and the characterization of all the characters is very good.  Plus, with a decent job of mimicking the tone of canon and it depicting a likely future for the canon storyverse, this is as close to the real deal as fanon gets.  I'd give it 4/5 stars, the one off a perfect score lost mostly because it lags at times due to the lack of a driving (epic-style) plot typical of this canon.
