Review:
Written very early in the series, this fic takes Grimm in a different direction, much more High Fantasy. The stuff this fic makes up about Royals and Renard's background has, of course, been Jossed, but the fic itself still works well. The romance plot is, imo, a little weak and a little too forced-shippy, but when it comes right down to it, that's easy to forgive because this fic has action, duels, big secrets, politics, and a Big Bad and its got Renard and Nick working together for the good of the city's Wesen.
