So I saw this rec'd on fancake recently. It's not at all the sort of thing I would have looked for normally, the review was really convincing. I'm glad I read it. It is a really good coming out story and a great friendship fic about very realistic (and interesting) characters. I can't really speak to whether the characterizations suit canon because I don't watch a lot of Mythbusters but to my limited knowledge, it seems okay.
